The Owasso Public Schools Technology Department is responsible for the management and maintenance of all computer and technology equipment in the district. E-mail, Gradebook, Student Information System database access and support, software application installation/upgrades, website design and maintenance, digital signage, Helpdesk applications, remote computer support, technology inventory control, computer troubleshooting, computer hardware repair, video servers, computer labs, mobile labs, SMARTboard equipment, projectors, and Chromebooks/iPads/Android tablets all fall under the scope of the department’s duties.
The Technology Department also plays a vital part in coordinating student information with "The WAVE", Oklahoma's statewide student information system, which brings all state assessment data, enrollment and accountability reports into one system.
The Technology Directory oversees district server maintenance to ensure the integrity of vital information and develops short and long-term technology planning and budgeting to meet the goals and objectives of the district.
