Owasso Public Schools is one of the largest school districts in the State of Oklahoma. The OPS School System incorporates seventy-two square miles including territory in Tulsa and Rogers Counties. We are located just north of Tulsa, Oklahoma, divided north to south by Highway 169.
Due to slick road conditions, Owasso Public Schools will move to distance learning on Monday, January 30, 2023. No students or teachers will report to school sites.
Each month, Owasso Public Schools will recognize an Employee of the Month from all school sites along with additional departments throughout the district.
As we enter the winter months, we want you to know that OPS teachers have been planning for the possibility of inclement weather distance learning days to allow for seamless instruction at home.
Owasso High School seniors Shaun Ehrhart, Carina Galutia and Eli Hall were named by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation among approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 68th annual National Merit Scholarship Program on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
The waivers from the USDA that allowed us to serve all students free of charge will expire on July 31 and we will return to pre-COVID National School Lunch and Breakfast Program rules for the 2022-23 school year.
