Summer Enrichment Camps

“SPARK” your interest in our summer enrichment camps! 

We are so excited to offer 6 weeks of Enrichment Camps during the summer of 2024. Students who have completed Pre-K through 5th grade are eligible to attend (see age recommendations). You can choose to enroll in as many (or as few) weeks as you prefer. Campers may only choose 1 camp per week.

  • Location: Mills Elementary

  • Camp Time: 9:00AM - 12:00PM (Monday-Thursday *see chart for which weeks are offered)

  • Meals are available (if desired) at no charge and served at the following times:

    • Breakfast at 8:30 AM

    • Lunch at 12:00 PM

“Aviation”

Come fly with us! You’ll learn the basics of flight and how ATC and Pilots work together. We will work with rockets, and drones, and get hands-on training through flight simulation.

“Leadership Unleashed”

This camp will help students identify what type of leader they can/want to be and how to grow their leadership skills to be a positive influence on those around them. We will focus on school leadership roles and how to be good leaders in their school environment.  Students will learn goal setting, communication skills, leadership qualities, community building, inspiring school spirit, and much more.

“Harry Potter”

Enter the world of Harry Potter! Use your imagination to create a Hogwarts Castle. We will craft the drinks and snacks that your favorite characters enjoyed in the books. If you love HP, you’ll have a blast at this camp.

“National Inventors Hall of Fame Project”

Using the curriculum created by the National Inventors Hall of Fame, students will be immersed and engaged in STEM learning through an invention project. This will be a hands-on and stimulating STEM camp.

“Move It, Don’t Lose It”

Get your body moving as we engage in movement/cross-body exercises/cooperative skill-building/and brain stretching!  This camp is designed to work your WHOLE body!

“Science - Things that go pop, squish, and fly!!”

If you love science, this is for you! Enjoy lessons with chemical reactions, making GAK, playdough, mini rockets with vinegar, baking soda, and 35 mm film canisters, STEM activities with dixie and solo cups, and more!

“I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for ICE CREAM!!”

This camp will be centered around everyone's favorite treat.... ice cream! We will read stories about ice cream, experience what it’s like to run an ice cream truck, talk about the different forms (liquid and solid) that ice cream can be, and learn how ice cream is made!

“Pop Art”

Learn all about artists of the Pop Art movement. We will focus our study on famous artists: Wayne Thiebaud and Andy Warhol and engage in sculpting, drawing, painting, and more!
