District Honors

At Owasso Public Schools, Be Your Best is more than a message—it’s a commitment we see lived out in our classrooms, campuses, and community each day. District Honors celebrate the educators and staff who embody this commitment through their dedication, passion, and service to students and families.

From inspiring teachers to supportive staff and dependable substitutes, each honoree reflects the heart of Owasso Public Schools—going above and beyond to ensure every student is known, supported, and empowered to succeed. Each year, this recognition culminates in our Evening of Distinction, a celebration of excellence across our district.

What an incredible night celebrating our teachers, substitute teachers, and support employees! It was such a joy to honor these amazing people who somehow manage to educate, encourage, support, and occasionally perform small miracles before the first bell rings.

Their impact on our students and staff is felt every single day—and we are so grateful for the heart, humor, and dedication they bring to our district.

Here are just a few of the memories captured on this special night of distinction… and yes, there may have been a few happy tears (and a lot of proud smiles)!
