Safety Reporting

The safety and security of students, parents & staff members is the top priority of Owasso Public Schools. The district encourages OPS students, employees and members of the community to report threats or other safety tips as soon as possible. Remember, if you see something, say something.

There are several ways to report threats or safety information at any time, including using the district’s Safety Quick Tip form below. You can also contact your school’s front office or the district’s Safety & Security team at 918-272-2001.

The Safety Quick Tip form is not a replacement for calling 911 to report an emergency. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call 911.

If wish to report a bullying incident, please use the Report and Stop Bullying form.

Additional ways to report a safety concern:

  • By Text Message - Text  “OKS Threat” to 226787. Texting a tip will allow for anonymous, two-way communication, images and video to be sent 24 hours a day.

  • By Phone - The Oklahoma School Security Institute (OSSI) monitors a 24/7 tipline where reports can be submitted and disseminated to appropriate parties for additional investigation. You can reach this toll free tipline by calling 1-855-337-8300.

  • Protect OK App - The OSSI has launched the ProtectOK app, which is free to download in the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app allows users to report suspicious activity without giving a name, making anonymous reporting easy.
