Essentials for Parenting Teens is a valuable free online resource designed for parents and caregivers of children aged 11 to 17. Developed by the CDC, this platform draws upon extensive research to pinpoint effective parenting strategies. It incorporates insights from leading experts in the field of parenting as well as the experiences of parents themselves. The site offers a variety of articles, videos, and activities that can assist parents and caregivers in navigating the challenges of raising teens.
KidsHealth

KidsHealth is the largest and most visited site on the Web, providing doctor-approved health information about children from before birth through adolescence. KidsHealth has separate areas for kids, teens, and parents - each with its own design, age-appropriate content, and tone.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a component of the National Institutes of Heath(NIH), created this Web site to educate adolescents ages 11 through 15 (as well as their parents and teachers) on the science behind drug abuse.  The site delivers science-based facts about how drugs affect the brain and body so that kids will be armed with better information to make healthy decisions.

SafeKids is a global network of organizations whose mission is to prevent accidental childhood injury. SafeKids was founded in 1987 as the National SAFE KIDS Campaign by Children’s National Medical Center with support from Johnson & Johnson.
