Inductees
Who Can Be Nominated?
- Any former student-athlete who made All-State at Owasso High School prior to the current school year.
- Any former student-athlete whose contribution to his/her sport(s) was of a nature to be considered a major effort to the school (Owasso High School), sport, or program.
- Any former student-athlete who through athletic participation at the collegiate or professional level distinguished themselves as an outstanding student-athlete.
- Any coach that has made significant contribution to the athletic program and his/her team(s).
- Any school administrator, school official or individual that has made significant contribution to the athletic department and/or an athletic team.
Criteria for Nomination
- The student-athlete must have participated in a program/sport that is sanctioned by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA), the Oklahoma Coaches Association (OCA) or the Oklahoma State Dance Team Directors Association (OSDTDA).
- The student-athlete must have graduated from Owasso High School and maintained eligibility during his/her attendance at Owasso High School.
- The student-athlete must continue to aspire to the normal pursuit of an education or occupation and remain a good citizen.
- The student-athlete must be nominated by his/her head coach, athletic director, school administrator, or media.
- A coach may be nominated by his/her former players and should be accompanied by two letters of recommendation.
- A school administrator, school official or individual must be nominated by a head coach, athletic director, school administrator, or media and should be accompanied by two letters of recommendation.
- Student-athletes must be out of high school for five years before being considered for selection.
