Elementary Adjustment for 2nd Semester
Owasso Parents & Guardians,
As we look ahead to the second semester I want to share a small adjustment designed to better support our families’ morning routines. Beginning on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, elementary school doors will open at 8:30 a.m. instead of 8:45 a.m.
This change comes in response to feedback from families and staff, and it offers several benefits. Opening doors 15 minutes earlier will give families more time to drop off children at multiple schools, allow students extra time to enjoy breakfast before class, and help improve our bus and transportation routes.
We appreciate your continued support as we make this adjustment to better serve our students and families. If you have any questions regarding this schedule change for the second semester, please contact your child’s principal.
