Cherokee Nation Summer EBT Program

Cherokee Nation Summer EBT Program

Cherokee Nation Public Health is currently taking applications for the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Program until Aug. 1.

Services provided are for eligible students within the Cherokee Nation Reservation.

Eligibility for the program is based on free or reduced school meals and FDPIR data list. Households that are on a direct certification list from these sources will automatically be issued a card for SEBT.

The summer EBT program is funded by a grant through the United States Department of Agriculture as a supplemental program to provide EBT cards through the summer months to children who currently receive free or reduced school meals.

Qualifying families will receive an EBT card loaded with a onetime benefit food package valued at approximately $120 to purchase nutritional food items while school is not in session.

Participation in the program will have no impact on other government assistance that participants may receive.

Find the online application here https://cherokee.oksebt.org/apply
