hi my name is Ron I'm executive chef here with Sodexo at Owasso Public Schools and today we're having our annual futurestep event the culinary competition we have at the elementary school level and we have 10 contestants 14 meet Elementary cool and one bone is contestant and usually this is a themed event today is event is deemed my favorite recipe for my favorite book or movie so the kids get in they cook you know for about an hour or hour and a half I've got four judges today that are go take me to tally up some boats and you know here in just a few minutes we're going to select the grand prize winner OK Google and I got it for how long is a 66 is my favorite event of the year the kids get really excited for it and it really shows the kids you know some healthy attributed the cooking some new skills that they can hopefully move on with and and you know a lot of them we talked to them years later after they've been in the event and they're still cooking at home so that's kind of the idea is to really get him involved with food and where their food comes from and you know taking in a healthy way
