2020 Bond Information

The Owasso Board of Education voted to accept a bond proposal at its meeting on Dec. 9, 2019. The bond includes two resolutions that total $11,375,000 and it will go before voters in the district's special election on Feb. 11, 2020.
 
We are excited to share the details of these resolutions, which will allow the district to continue to provide a safe environment that equips, educates and empowers Owasso students on their journey toward outstanding character and success.
 
Please see the breakdown of each resolution below, followed by a document containing the information required by the Bond Transparency Act of 2017.
 
Descriptions of Proposed Bond Projects voting on 11th day of February 2020:


PROPOSITION NO. 1

to renovate the weight room to include but not be limited to; new flooring and weight systems

to perform facility upgrades district-wide to include but not be limited to; roofs, parking lots, HVAC, flooring, paint, lighting, vehicles and gym floor resurfacing

to purchase technology district-wide $2,750,000.00
   
to purchase instructional materials district-wide to include but not be limited to; textbooks and instructional/resource software

to purchase Fine Arts/Athletic equipment and uniforms $510,000.00
